Architectural Description
Typical square-shaped watchtower, acting as a small defensive bulwark against enemy incursions. It takes its name from the presence in the centuries from the 13th to the 15th, near the place where it is located, of a community of priests of Waldensian religion.
Traces of ancient loopholes and two large round arches remain in the filaretto masonry, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, plugged, on the side facing the town. The first floor is accessed from the street via an external stone staircase, built adjacent to the walls.
The tower consists of three floors in all: the floors of the first floor and the roof are barrel-vaulted, while the intermediate floor is a wooden frame. The barrel covering is flanked by
