Get to the heart of Montepulciano, a city of magical sensations, already it represents a journey through the senses: sight, smell, hearing. After some steep serpentine characterized by a breathtaking view that is not shy about the Temple of San Biagio, masterpiece of Sangallo, that's passing by a door, skirting the fortress of Montepulciano, Poliziano bulwark of the town, we meet the Osteria Count.
Lorraine and her son Paul, after so many years in the enogastronomic and catering industry, have decided to give life to this small and cozy place where those who arrive can complete the journey of the senses in Montepulciano combining the previous three touch and taste to find in the simple but delicious dishes of the Sienese tradition.
The winter magic atmosphere, with soft lighting of the room, and the sizzling summer with a view of the heart of Montepulciano, give added value to the culinary choices of the chef. To characterize the quality of the dishes a meticulous choice of strictly local raw materials of the season, as well as seasonal dishes are served.
Truffles from the lower area of Montepulciano, mushrooms from the surrounding woods. From sheep's milk produced by the artisans of the surrounding territory, the sweet delicacy, these seasonal.
All accompanied by a fine selection of wines from Tuscany almost entirely, like the famous Nobile di Montepulciano.
